OK this is what I'm talking about. This toilet is made so that a wheelchair user can simply slide forward using the handles and push back to get back into the chair. I would suggest adding handrails to accommodate people like me whose chairs a a little taller than normal. For me getting on is easy but getting back into my wheelchair which is usually a little higher than the toilet is more difficult . Handrails would give me the ability to safely move back after pulling myself up to a standing position. With a design like that even if you slip you're still OK because there is little chance of you hitting the floor. You just sit back down. Bravo!

To stop it from flushing over and over put a piece of paper over the sensor then take it off when you are done.

Interesting . But in India we have s set of other problems like squatting for toilets and ablution. So maybe some design modifications are necessary to the basic concept.-the Sunflower group

Working in Occupational Therapy with patients with dissabilities, I am truly excited to see something so usable finally available. The problem of transfering independantly is an ongoing battle, becoming worse in public facilities. Enabling a person to increase their independance is wonderful, and I congradulate the person who thought of this design.

This is a great idea, I would like to see one more thing added to it. A BIDGIT. As a handicap person, a problem I have is hygine. In our home wev'e installed a portable bidgit (cost runs anywhere from 50. to 300.00 depending on style and functions.) It hooks directily to the toilet you already own, and just so great to have.

Great idea indeed! This will solve problem of not only disables, but also those who are on wheel-chair temporarily, and those who are not able to seat low either due to old age or chronic back-ache. I congratulate the designers Mr. Kim Changduk and Mr.Hong Youngki for their noble endeavor and marvel outcome. I am sure, there are people who must sponsor this noble cause, and shoulder it further!
