Talasi – Ramps Blended Into Stairs for Wheelchairs and Strollers

Snezana Jeremic, a Belgrade-based industrial designer, has submitted Talasi. It’s a modern representation of ramps blended into stairs for wheelchairs and strollers. These stairs consist of a series of short ramp to facilitate self-climbing for wheelchair-bound users.

  1. Silly concept. Huge use of space to create ramps far too steep to use by whellchair-riders.
Not to mention the ridiculous way the wheelchair rider hase to take…
One long ramp at one side instead would work far better (max. angle for wheelchairs is 6°!) and safe a lot of space.
