Symetium Smartphone PC Merges Your Mobile and PC Experiences into One Device

We have featured Symetium Smartphone PC sometime ago, this time, we’d like to give you an update for the next version and how to order one. That’s right, this smartphone is available for pre-order.

Featuring 5-inch, 1080p OLED screen, 256GB storage, 6GB ram, Snapdragon 820, stereo speakers and 24MP camera, this smartphone is not just a companion on-the-go, it also works great to complete big tasks. The design team believes Symetium can do better, it was started when the team leader looking more closely at his PC, smartphones are great for simple stuff but for serious tasks, he has to use his computer. Keeping this in mind, he started to design a concept phone that offers all the power, technology, and efficiency as a computer.

Designer : Jonathan Gustafsson [Pre-Order]

User can connect multiple Symetium at once in order to stream UI (User Interface) environments to a screen, in this way, you can create a tablet sized screen for better working environment. However, instead of mirroring the UI from the phone itself, it streams a separate interface to allow you to use your phone without any interruptions when needed. The company promises this is not your ordinary smartphone, it’s a no compromise smartphone PC.

Since Symetium is built as a computer, when docked, it features a full desktop that you can connect to an external monitor through USB 3.0 type C connection. Once connected, it turns into keyboard and mouse combination, making it possible to use it as a computer even when you don’t have keyboard or a mouse nearby. The Symetium OS is a UI designed with minimalism and elegance in mind, merging mobile experience with PC experience.
