Dragonfly vertical farm is a concept urban farm specially designed for the Roosevelt Island of New York City which will reduce the problems associated with food shortage, mileage and connection between the producers and consumers. Because of the densely packed city civilization, this farm has been designed vertically, spanning 132 floors and 28 different agricultural fields for accommodating dragonflies aiming to produce fruit, grains, vegetables, meat and dairy. This Dragonfly wing shaped superstructure features wind and solar power producing capability and includes housing, offices, research labs and communal areas separated from farms, orchards and production rooms. Throughout the glass and steel set of wings, animal and plant farming is arranged as well as soil nutrient levels are maintained properly.

Zaragoza Bridge Pavilion is a symbol of Expo 2008 built on Ebro River and a British architecture named Zaha Hadid has experimented with this amazing concept covered by glass fiber concrete from Austrian Company. This stunning concept is 275 meters long and its outer skin has around 29,000 triangles made of innovative sustainable material. The structure of this pavilion promises to be the world class because of its multi level exhibition area focusing on water sustainability. Zaha Hadid has managed to create this magnificent gladiolus shape with a natural air conditioning.

Now this is what I call a very cool wall, water walls, designed by MIT and was unveiled on Thursday at the opening of the Zaragoza World Expo in Spain. This is the first kind of Digital Water Pavilion that creates spaces and dynamically adjust to people and conditions. The idea of this water pavilion is based on the challenge of how to make fluid reconfigurable architecture, and MIT is trying to answer that question with its water walls.
