The aircraft named The Transition is a design that provides the convenience of being able to fold the wings while driving on any of the surface road. So, from the confines of the cockpit, one can easily stow away the wings while the aircraft is on the road and deploy the same for the flight is all done on a click of a button thus, giving solution to the issues faced by pilots like uncertain weather, ground transportation, rising costs etc. Quite an innovative product one must say!

The new bicycle design by Torkel Dohmers has recently won the ‘commuter bike for masses’ design competition. The bicycle named “ThisWay” has been designed keeping in mind the safety and security of the rider from all sorts of situation. Care has been taken by designer to ensure that the rider is safe from weather as the concept has covered top thereby giving the concept an automobile like feel. Also the material used is light weight with the front and rear lights being operated by solar cell placed above the roof, space has been provided on the back for keeping luggage and other stuff. Quite a practical concept as the vehicle will be cost effective as the running cost is still lesser than that of the car.

The color is green to enhance its organic nature. The steppers at the bottom are also shaped like leaves with the similar designs. mPower consists of 2 units: Generation and Collection.
mPower Generation is a plant-shaped human-powered unit that produces electricity for immediate and future use. Users access their account using fingerprint recognition, stand on two pads at the base of the unit, and shift their weight from one pad to the other every ten seconds. The system, developed to take up the least amount of a user’s time and effort, can be adapted for the handicapped. A small portion of the electricity generated is used to power the interactive touch-screen at the top of the unit, which offers a broad range of informational services pre-customised by each user. The remaining majority of the electricity generated is sent to the city’s main power plant, to be used or stored. At their convenience, users receive payment for the electricity they generated by accessing their account at mPower Collection.
mPower Collection is a unit that, using the same fingerprint recognition technology, distributes payment and allows for account customisation to users of mPower Generation.

This is a type of housing specially designed for emergency accommodation. These are made of fiber glass and plastic that increases the durability and helps them last for a long time. London is going to be cleaner and environment friendly with the help of Bombproof Bins called as “Renew”. These bins are designed to absorb heat of explosions, collects trash and recyclable materials in different compartments and there is a weather-proof LCD screen displaying news and travel information. These New Bombproof waste bins will be installed throughout London keeping in mind the city’s safety concerns. This is not a cheap or small project because each unit of bombproof bin will cost $50,000. Whenever there is a threat, the police remove public trash cans as a security measure because they can contain explosives but with these bins, police officials can be more relaxed.
