Capca, Space-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Car Concept

Capca car concept is created for Peugeot Design Contest 2008: Imagine the Peugeot in the Worldwide Megalopolis of Tomorrow. Too bad, this car concept wasn’t accepted by Peugeot, but we still think that this is pretty cool car concept. What will city infrastructure and city transport, parking and fueling be like in the near future? Let’s take a look at your city from the height of a skyscraper, what will you see? There are green areas and water pools, round shape streets and austere simplicity of architecture, streams of hi-tech eco-vehicles and eye appealing blossoms of parked cars. You’d be glad to know that parking lots filled up with cars now produce oxygen so necessary for life. No more smog and polluted air, no more packed buses and fussy crowds with capca car concept.

The Sync System : A Modular, Cleaner, and Energy Saving Public Washing

Let’s face it…public restrooms are a necessary part of life. They are often unsanitary, broken, outdated, and generally only used when there is no alternative. The products and systems that inhabit them have evolved only incrementally. The sync system represents a shift in the product category, pushing boundaries to deliver an enhanced public washing experience. Sync is a modular, no-touch hand cleansing/drying system that addresses these concerns by applying new technology and re-thinking the user’s work flow. The system replaces the current landscape of public sinks and hand drying systems by combining the two functions into one station. It delivers a noticeably ‘cleaner’ aesthetic, saves space and energy, simplifies the washing/drying experience, and improves restroom traffic flow.

High-pressure jets spray a mist of mild, ozonated water that sterilizes germs and bacteria, while providing a physical agitant to remove grime. After a 5 second wash cycle, the system begins blowing air from above, and sucking air in from below at a high speed, providing a fully cyclical airflow (shorter drying time). The air blows until the user removes hands from the field. Placing hands in Sync begins an automatic cleansing/drying cycle.

Rotator Bath by Ron Arad for Teuco

This unique bath is designed by Ron Arad for Teuco. Users can use it as a bath when the wide lip functions is at the lowest point, but it can be rotated to become a standing shower. The water is drained from the bath by rotating it back to the shower position. Two function in a design.

Some Text from Teuco :

Designer, artist and renowned architect, Ron Arad uses the malleability of duralight and Teuco know-how to present “Rotator”, an original space and a new enjoyable experience in which a continuous and unexpected flow of water becomes the protagonist. The slowly rotating basin transforms into a shower and the continuously flowing water becomes an essential component of the product’s beauty. The background for this creation is a floor with mirrored light and glossy white walls with small red shelves that exalt the materiality and the multi-functionality that are characteristic of duralight.

HABILITY: Easyfood and Valcucine

Hability was born from the need to combine a careful analysis of the needs of the disabled with the creation of a kitchen that is not merely accessible but also aesthetically pleasant and accurate in every detail. The collaboration between architect Marco Miscioscia, a designer attentive to the world of the disabled, and Valcucine, a company that has made the philosophy of beauty its motto, has resulted in the creation of this industrial product that can be utilized just as well by people with no handicap as by the disabled, without the kitchen labeling the person as is often the case with similar projects.

Easy Food is a system in stainless steel for the kitchen, designed to reduce work during food preparation. It is extremely innovative in terms of ergonomics, safety and technical solutions and has been designed to be very accessible to the advantage of anyone using the kitchen. The stainless steel top has been made from a single mould. This technology avoids welding and built-in elements that would increase costs and imperfections.
