The new complex coming up for the new headquarters of Antwerp Port Authority in Antwerp, Belgium can be stated to be a masterpiece. Being designed by London based architects Zaha Hadid Architects, the new extension is expected to be completed in 2013 and will house about 500 staff members, with the existing building will be refurbished so that the public counters, meeting rooms and offices be in that place. The new building which shall be five stories high will consist of auditorium and restaurant and additional offices and meeting rooms. It will be a towering structure overlooking the city and will sure be a monument to look out for.

Insecta, as the name suggests is something related to insects, exactly what the designer Shao Yung Yeh thought of while designing this new revolutionized car. Inspired by a grasshopper he designed this car with such a unique combination of colors and design. This is a battery powered personal vehicle that looks much like a grasshopper with its legs connected to the central chassis as a thorax. Just as the abdomen of the grasshopper, a battery pack is fixed at the bottom pretending it more like an insect. With zeal to create something alive, the designer has developed this product that is light weight, agile and eco friendly.

RD concept car is designed for single passenger and best suited for large routes. The main feature of this car is that it works mainly through articulation that not only gives direction but also makes it capable of compacted during high traffic and low speeds. Therefore, this vehicle remains low at the high speed and also displays information required during a trip by voice command by the driver. “Xylophone Bin” is an amazing creation by Dominic Wilcox designed for Danish Company Vipp’s charity auction event held in New York. It is not an ordinary bin but it plays music. Xylophone bin is made up of oak and steel. When you press the pedal, the lid opens and it releases a ball that travels down a spiral set of xylophone steps around the bin. Whenever that ball touches a step, a note is played and while going down, the note gets lower. It is hard to see such a musical concept and that too for a good cause.
