Smooth Car Concept for Urban Vehicle

The Smooth car concept designed by Milan based Italian Industrial designer, Stefano Marchetto is a head turner. Named as Smooth, the car sticks to its name both in terms of its design and usage. Smooth is urban transport vehicle with frontal access to the cabin. Chassis in extruded aluminium, external body in aluminium plates with square wave section. As far as the design is concerned, this two-seater is one straight arch, with ample amount of leg and head room. The spacious doors allow easy entry and exit into and out of the car. Also there is ample amount of boot space if one wants to travel with luggage. Also due to its design it does not take much of road or parking space either thus it’s a good urban vehicle.

Caravela Three-Wheeled Vehicle with Zero Emission Hydrogen-Powered Engine

The new concept car designed by Andre Fangueiro is an interesting concept both design and utility wise. As per the designer, the inspiration for designing “Caravela” has been to make the congested urban highway space more interesting with innovative designs. And it’s an icing on the cake if the car is eco friendly apart from being different and compact. It is based on the three – wheeled Piaggio Ape- which was designed for elderly people but what takes the cake in case of Caravela is the overall design element. Add to that, the zero emission hydrogen engine with a top speed of 70kmph, well now you have a winner at hand.

In this daily clogging of road and parking space it’s always the space for parking that seems to be the main issue. In such a scenario, the new urban vehicle design by David Goncalves is something that’s what the doctor ordered. The design called as Scarab by the designer is not only a concept that is aimed at occupying least road space, but also it occupies very little parking space too. The vehicle is completely collapsible and the complete process ensures that the vehicle is parked on just two wheels. A very nice thought that surely will find many takers.

“Freewill Urban” : A Collapsible, Personal Commuting Vehicle Used to Assists Daily Short Distance Travel

Check out this innovative transportation concept known as Freewill Urban – Intercity Commuting vehicle designed by Jinn Wong. This vehicle is a personal commuting assistant which helps in daily travel for the journey between the train station and the user’s destination. This vehicle consists of three-wheels with a long handle designed to pull the vehicle in an indoor environment. Freewill Urban is powered by two individual motors in the hub area of the two front wheels. Each motor controls each wheel separately. Relay, An Electric Urban Delivery Vehicle Concept

Relay is an urban delivery vehicle designed by Tristan Hipps for maximum transport efficiency. It is a zero emission vehicle which is driven by an electric engine. The vehicle is fully covered from all sides and is provided by one main 48 volt battery and one spare 24 volt battery in case the main battery runs out of power. Relay offers a maximum speed of 40mph with clean and bright environment. Though, Relay has all the qualities of a vehicle that promises green future but with the speed of 40pmh, it will surely be considered as a dead vehicle in today’s fast-paced world.
