The Nomad Wheelchair concept is the outcome of Mark Owen’s continuous effort with his brother Jon and Angela Gidden, a furniture designer of Studio SDA, after he got paralyzed in a motorbike accident. The inconveniences and difficulties he has faced with the traditional wheelchairs became the key turning point of Mark to make an innovative wheelchair that can overcome all those problems successfully. Finally, the lightweight and minimal mobility device reached the production house with the money he got from his personal injury claim. The simple and sleek wheelchair excludes all the unnecessary elements and has been structured in a comfortable and contemporary way where a person can sit and roll for longer time without getting irritated.

With the sunrise orange color and the perfect white shades, the Tequila sunrise bicycle is really offering an ideal visual according to its name. Even you can compare the body of this bicycle, made of laid fiberglass over steel frame, with a rising sun. During giving the final shape, fabrication of the bicycle’s body has not been done with molds; rather the designer chose to put fiberglass over the top expanding foam. He discovered that it is possible to lose unnecessary weight by being active all through the day which will shut the metabolism down. Gruve is a tri-axial accelerometer that can indicate the progress of an individual against his or her pre-measured metabolism by monitoring the individual’s every movement all through the day.

The collapsible bicycle concept designed by Blair Hasty was primarily designed as a vehicle for daily transport usage. Featured in the 2004 International Bicycle Design Competition in Taiwan the concept has the pedals shifted to behind the driver so the overall weight transfers from the lower back to forearms and pelvic bone and the posture while the rider is prostrate while riding the bike. The designer has utilized the space by placing a large bag at the creating a thus creating storage space for the rider. Also to add on it is collapsible and the bag comes handy then. Slide is a city car for one individual, in which you dont sit but stand. The low cross-section in this case should be effective against the parking situations of tomorrow. Unnecessary empty rides of one individual in a car with two or four seats, especially in the city, belong to the past. Through an open design and the upright position during the ride, the user is able to communicate with the other participants of traffic in a special way. They are in an equal position of eye height with pedestrians and cyclists. The drive of Slide works about the clean electrical engine technology.
