The new concept car designed by Andre Fangueiro is an interesting concept both design and utility wise. As per the designer, the inspiration for designing “Caravela” has been to make the congested urban highway space more interesting with innovative designs. And it’s an icing on the cake if the car is eco friendly apart from being different and compact. It is based on the three – wheeled Piaggio Ape- which was designed for elderly people but what takes the cake in case of Caravela is the overall design element. Add to that, the zero emission hydrogen engine with a top speed of 70kmph, well now you have a winner at hand.

The new FC Sport fuel based car from Honda was recently displayed at the LA Auto Show is one traffic stopper. The designers have taken into their advantage the flexibility which is extended by the fuel cell powertrain as it is placed on the back of the driver. It’s a 3-seater with the styling of sports car major McLaren F1 vehicle, where in the driver is in the middle with passenger seats on side and back. The concept car is right now under study and testing to understand the full utility of the product. Though there may be a possibility of Honda releasing a full fledged version for commercial use.

A new concept has come into existence with this revolutionized submersible boat, called Ammonoq. It is equipped with all the necessary accessories to survive beneath the water. Fin wheels provide a steady movement in water where as on-board re-breather facilitates a comfortable breathing for the passengers. It provides easy accommodation for three passengers with a remote key transmitter to control any internal or external devices. A GPS sensor tracks the exact position of the boat and redirects the path wherever it goes.

Check out this innovative transportation concept known as Freewill Urban – Intercity Commuting vehicle designed by Jinn Wong. This vehicle is a personal commuting assistant which helps in daily travel for the journey between the train station and the user’s destination. This vehicle consists of three-wheels with a long handle designed to pull the vehicle in an indoor environment. Freewill Urban is powered by two individual motors in the hub area of the two front wheels. Each motor controls each wheel separately. Peugeot’s HYmotion 3 is a concept vehicle which facilitates urban mobility by bridging the gap between an electric scooter and a car. This vehicle comes with three wheels – two in front equipped with electric motor and one in the back powered by a diesel engine. HYmotion 3 is a hybrid vehicle that can be driven in the city in an electric mode. It is a slightly leaned and small frame vehicle with a maximum speed of 70mph covered with a glass on the top. This is something very desirable in today’s world of hectic roads.
