Vertical Park is a stunning concept skyscraper that has been designed to overcome the impressive pressure of thickening smog and population on the fast expanding metropolis of Mexico City. While the city is having lack of green spaces, this modular skyscraper is envisioned as a series of solar powered stacking units containing green gardens and additional space for living and working. Each module of this concept can be customized to provide space for private and public use, solar and water collection and urban farming. The solar panels will be attached with the steel frames of the building to generate the required power to run various functions of the building and will allow wind to pass through the structure on warm days.

Autonomous Living Unit has been demonstrated last April for the first time in the Future Cities exhibition occurred in New York City which is a concept chair with a unique look that integrates all the functions that a home may have into a single chair. This concept is outlined by imagining the furniture that could be fitted in derelict buildings to provide the fundamental needs of human being. This project symbolizes the current housing crisis due to the tendency of people to live on their own and the tradition of transforming architecture into consumer products. In fact, this concept product shows the visually alluring yet most minimal objects that still can provide the basic needs of human being.

[Update] HST II is a concept long-distance road haulage envisioned to transport high volume containerized and palletized cargo units with a proposed overall 29 meters of length and 65 tonnes of maximum gross combination weight. If you still remember our post about HST, than you can see that HST II is a better version from the previous HST Truck. This vehicle can be operated with a comprehensive yet straightforward computer just like a modern passenger car. The large 2.90 meters long cab provide a comfortable living and working environment that cannot be imagined in the contemporary trucks. Aside from the considerably larger size, HST II is different from usual articulated trucks by extraordinary fuel efficiency, a higher level of safety, extensively improved driving experience, enhanced infrastructural and environmental considerations.

Community values are the main inspiration of the LifeLINK Modular Shelter. Each of them is prepared of 1000 denier nylon walls with self skinning foam. During manufacturing, the shelters are vacuum packed. So when the parcel is ripped open, it inflates itself slowly. Then multiple units are zipped together through side flaps in order to form bigger units and a Velcro and a plastic sheet covers it. By doing this, it generates a central “sunroom” and people of the smaller units can access it. Ease of use merged with visual form and functionality has made these LifeLINK Modular Shelter an ideal selection in various disaster situations.
