Zaragoza Bridge Pavilion in Spain as Symbol of Zaragoza Expo 2008 by Zaha Hadid

Zaragoza Bridge Pavilion is a symbol of Expo 2008 built on Ebro River and a British architecture named Zaha Hadid has experimented with this amazing concept covered by glass fiber concrete from Austrian Company. This stunning concept is 275 meters long and its outer skin has around 29,000 triangles made of innovative sustainable material. The structure of this pavilion promises to be the world class because of its multi level exhibition area focusing on water sustainability. Zaha Hadid has managed to create this magnificent gladiolus shape with a natural air conditioning.

“Sunny Day” Bike with Solar Panel

Sunny Day is designed for daily urban commuting which is a 10 to 30 minutes ride, it is a pedal-powered with full time electrical power assistant, the battery could be charged either by plug or solar energy. Honda Walking Assist Device for The Elderly and Other People with Weakened Leg Muscles

Still remember about Honda robotic walking rehab? At that time, we didn’t have much detail information, but now Honda has made official statement regarding this robotic walking assist device. Available in three sizes, the device uses brushless DC motors powered by lithium ion batteries that allow up to two hours of walking assistance per charge. Honda’s Fundamental Technology Research Center will be showcasing the device at the International Trade Fair on Barrier Free Equipments & Rehabilitation for the Elderly & the Disabled, which will be held at Intex Osaka, Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27, 2008.

Honda walking assist device is much more compact than similar device such as : rewalk exoskeleton. If this device is working perfectly, not just us, there are going to be a lot of people jump in joy for Honda’s breakthrough.
