With all the competition going on in the outside world to do their best, the only ones who are being affected is our kids. With all the heavy books that they are burdened with and also long studying hours that they have at home is putting more and strain on them. Irish designer Simon Dennehy has come up with an excellent furniture for primary school children, who takes care of their correct posture, chair height. To have a healthy back, posture is very important and would reduce problems like poor digestion, nausea, headaches and bad circulation, which arises because of incorrect posture.

Chi Shing Lo, a student at the UK’s De Montfort University recently won the annual D&AD Student Awards for the new mobile phone handset designed for Orange. This win is his second major competition this year. The D&AD Student Awards of course showcases the best emerging design and advertising talent from colleges and universities around the globe. The handset design includes a simple ‘hole’ which doubles up as a view finder when used as a camera, a charging point which uses inductive charging technology, and also for transferring data. It also has a mirror surrounding which enables the users to take their own picture.

‘Classroom of the Future’ is something unbelievable for all the students. It is a flatbed truck presenting a transportable classroom that is capable of offering sufficient ICT facilities which are usually not available with most of the schools. This concept is designed for school children in Canden outside of London. This mobile school will move from one school to another in order to explore music and film making. At a time this movable truck can hold 15 students. This classroom can be opened from all sides and then packed into a box while moving.

Jake Loniak, a student of Art Center Pasadena has crammed the combination of motorcycle and tech-skeleton into an awesome looking Yamaha branded Deus Ex Machina. Jake has beyond his wild imagination to design this concept. The vehicle will be powered by ultra-capacitors and doped nano-phoshpate batteries. Jake believes that this vehicle can achieve a top speed of 75 mph. The recharge time of this vehicle is15 minutes and cycle time is of 1 hour. The qualities are more than the qualities found in hybrid cars. Anyone who uses this vehicle would be protected from any kind of accident. Can’t wait this vehicle to come on roads…!!
