The name given to this ecologically sustainable transport vehicle is called sTrike and just like the name it is surely striking. In these times when everyone is fighting for the parking space, this practical three wheel concept takes care of lot of these problems. The frontal movement of the vehicle is with the help of the pedals just as in bicycle and the cocoon design on top ensures that the rider is safe in case of a collision. Thus it’s a safe and environment friendly city transportation vehicle.

A dune shaped new opera house (with a seating capacity of 2500) and cultural center coming up in island off Dubai Creek, the designs for the same has been developed by Zaha Hadid Architects. All of the facilities are available within a single striking structure. Images of mountains or sand dunes are evoked from the gentle winding form. From the ground the form arises as both are a part of the landscape but with a distinct element in the skyline.

Dubai is coming out to be the next destination as far as architectural designs are concerned. An example of the same is the Strata tower, a forty story, luxury residential building designed by architects Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture of Asymptote. The work has started on the Al Raha Beach and is slated to be completed by early 2011.
The tower would be 160 meters high and will be tallest building in the Al Dana precinct, which is the centerpiece of Aldar Properties PJSC’s prestigious Al Raha Beach development. The project and its development shall be showcased at Cityscape Abu Dhabi from May 13–15, 2008. the Strata Tower is designed to signify an important and dignified future for the Abu Dhabi and the surrounding region.
