Mantra is an automated life saving system concept aiming to tackle the beach safety issues that usually causes drowning casualties such as slow response time, inadequate surveillance, lack of lifeguard safety, and limitation of lifeguards as human. The Mantra concept contains small hairs with embedded electro sensors that detect distress and drowning people and swims up automatically to the spot. The victim them picked up carefully onto the built-in stretcher and it carries him or her on top of the water by using impellers and hydrofoils. There is always constant communication between the Mantra and beach lifeguards through which it carries the victim to a specified beach location where ambulance and medical team remains stand-by.

CarNurse is a concept vehicle aimed to provide medical support for wounded at public beaches. The vehicle includes enough open space to facilitate the wounded and also can carry the friends or relatives of the patient to handle the situation more efficiently. The design envisioned enough room for 3 lifeguards, 4 people and a stretcher for the wounded. If the wounded requires more specialized medical care, this vehicle can perform both on land and in water for quicker transportation. The car has emergency storage space at the bottom of the lifeguard’s chair and under the stretcher for medical equipments to handle critical situations.

Vite is a collapsible snow stretcher aimed to rescue the injured people in the snow within the quickest possible way. The backpack shell acts as a sled and allowing an injured to be carried easily. The design intends to be opened easily and quickly in order to lessen the setting up time of the sled. The products that are available in the market are deliberated to be used by two people. But these products became much heavier which resulting a lesser speed. Vite, on the other hand, is however not a professional level rescuer, rather this product would be ideal for people living on mountains and groups of expedition for emergency situations.

Considering the flood rescuing issue, Rez-Q has been developed to use it in post-flood conditions where the waters became calm, but the roads are still blocked. It can be deployed by boat or helicopter and numbered to track it throughout the rescue effort. Don’t take it as a simple watercraft; the different features of Rez-Q have made it a useful relief as well. This rescuer is opened by an immediate release lever in the boat’s back and the pneumatic cylinders open the kayak. An elastic urethane material stretches out from the main hull which gives the kayak an additional 3 feet of length. This light urethane is extremely UV stable, energy absorbing and abrasion resistant.
