Dragonfly vertical farm is a concept urban farm specially designed for the Roosevelt Island of New York City which will reduce the problems associated with food shortage, mileage and connection between the producers and consumers. Because of the densely packed city civilization, this farm has been designed vertically, spanning 132 floors and 28 different agricultural fields for accommodating dragonflies aiming to produce fruit, grains, vegetables, meat and dairy. This Dragonfly wing shaped superstructure features wind and solar power producing capability and includes housing, offices, research labs and communal areas separated from farms, orchards and production rooms. Throughout the glass and steel set of wings, animal and plant farming is arranged as well as soil nutrient levels are maintained properly.

The new garden house designed by ADD+ Arquitectura is a good example of designer houses. The project is designed to be located in the city of Igulada while overlooking the overall landscape. The big glasses all over the house ensure that the house does not have dearth of light and air. The house overall is supported on steel tubes and is quite strong in holding the whole house. Also the interiors are done very aesthetically with wooden flooring taking the overall feel to a new level. In a nutshell it is a perfect getaway to connect with nature.

Rox bench is great solution for you who live in houses with restricted gardens and where space saving furniture is paramount. You can change the unit into a storage where you can keep your garden tools, children’s toys, etc when it comes to winter. When summer comes, you can open it out into 3 seater bench that has two accompanying tables. The materials are made of aluminum, plywood, and chrome steel, plus it features built-in solar lights, this will create a very cool night time effect.
