This is a type of housing specially designed for emergency accommodation. These are made of fiber glass and plastic that increases the durability and helps them last for a long time. The Public, West Bromwich, England is a new arts building designed by architect Will Alsop. As per the architect, the building is born out of the thought that for renewing a generation, architecture can act as a catalyst. It inspires new ideas from the creative users and in itself the building signifies the creators’ belief in art. It has five levels and the building caters to various creative heads to explore their creativity. It’s intended to be a center for people to take part in art projects, and also engaging in learning wide range of skills and subjects, with special emphasis being given to IT and digital arts.

Dubai is coming out to be the next destination as far as architectural designs are concerned. An example of the same is the Strata tower, a forty story, luxury residential building designed by architects Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture of Asymptote. The work has started on the Al Raha Beach and is slated to be completed by early 2011.
The tower would be 160 meters high and will be tallest building in the Al Dana precinct, which is the centerpiece of Aldar Properties PJSC’s prestigious Al Raha Beach development. The project and its development shall be showcased at Cityscape Abu Dhabi from May 13–15, 2008. the Strata Tower is designed to signify an important and dignified future for the Abu Dhabi and the surrounding region.
