The Atmosphere concept camera was designed for the ‘active-youth’ with the ability of capturing pictures when it is actually thrown on the air. This interactive camera has three different lenses to use – a normal snap-shot, a ‘fisheye’ and a color filtered lens. To activate any of the lenses, the user just has to rotate the front knob. Moreover, it has three rubberized handles located inside, helping the user to manage easy portability and accessibility. The small silver knobs act as an attachment area for the discs through rubber cords that will allow easy looping and a secure tight grip for the camera.

After being introduced by iPhone, many other competitors of the electronic industry have utilized the outstanding multi-touch facility in different gadgets. Earlier this year, Toyota and Royal College of Art Students (RCA) have launched a creative partnership to promote innovative design for urban living, using Toyota’s new iQ city car as the inspiration. Students were asked to create an item that reflect the concept of ‘intelligent urban living’.
Yusuf Muhammad, was the winner of Living Room category and joint overall winner. His Yu Type design sits on the computer keyboard and allows ‘hunt and peck’ two fingered typists the opportunity to increase their speed and confidence. He is now thinking about developing the idea and hopes to include features like spell checking and predictive text to increase its appeal. Judges praised the way he addressed a social issue of an aging population within the urban context.

Recently I gifted this camera to my 3 year old cousin on thanksgiving and already it seems to be a must have for him at all times. He carries it all along and trust me, I am no more the super hero because this teeny little camera has replaced me. Having said that, this small wonder can be deemed as a good thought by manufacturers to allow kids to start early.
