RD concept car is designed for single passenger and best suited for large routes. The main feature of this car is that it works mainly through articulation that not only gives direction but also makes it capable of compacted during high traffic and low speeds. Therefore, this vehicle remains low at the high speed and also displays information required during a trip by voice command by the driver. “Xylophone Bin” is an amazing creation by Dominic Wilcox designed for Danish Company Vipp’s charity auction event held in New York. It is not an ordinary bin but it plays music. Xylophone bin is made up of oak and steel. When you press the pedal, the lid opens and it releases a ball that travels down a spiral set of xylophone steps around the bin. Whenever that ball touches a step, a note is played and while going down, the note gets lower. It is hard to see such a musical concept and that too for a good cause.

The new front door design by Brazil based design group Nódesign is a beautiful design for a front door. The door is sleek and modern and comes with a remote control. Yup the door can be locked or unlocked at the click of a button similar to what a central locking does to a car. The door also comes with a digital door bell, number lighting i.e. the door displaying the house number. The door also comes with a battery back up of running one week without power supply. So a practical solution for today’s resource crunch times which is high tech yet simple to use.

In a mood to maneuver the streets, then the new SoulArc Board is sure something that will help you doing the same. Though at the first glance it looks like a normal skateboard, but it has a rigid top while the below-deck composite spring provides the action and the feeling one gets is that of surfing. Designed by Mitch Mulder, along with Salvaore Vilardi, the whole design is dependent on the performance spring, which has undergone various adjustments like size, shape and material selection etc. The overall ride is quite smooth and unmatched to give that surfing experience. So go play!
