The Trunk Concept derives self-sufficiency aspects from the earlier version of Harley Davidson to retain the quality and class. At the same time, TRUNK biking also targets to root modern specialties. The biking solution provides two vital features, one is Recycling and other one is Natural Materials. Trunk is a revolution and the advanced Chassis is developed in due with the features of Sequoia, a Californian forest tree. The tree holds high respect with Amerindians. Sequoia is also termed as giant of vegetable kingdom. Other features that have made the design special are natural mother, legend, root, custom, simplicity and self-sufficiency.
Issued from QUO, the laboratory and concept brand of the industrial agency Sequoia-Studio, E-note is a conceptual project which is exploring what could be the future of the reminder. E-note is using the tactile and flexible electronic paper technology, and is powered by a solar captor. E-note can be stuck, and unstuck, easily and durably, with special “Gecko” glue, inspired by nature and the lizard of the same name. E-note is coming with a visual alarm function, 8 possible colors of message display and can be used many many times.
Sequoia Studio has released 2 new furniture designs : Bahia and Yu. Bahia, designed by Nicolas Melan, is a sunbath for outdoor use. Its structure is made of white Corian®, as the supporting foot which is filled with concrete. Bahia’s cushions have loose and washable covers made of Dralon®, filled with latex foam and available in different colors and original graphics. Yu, designed by Pascal Bardel, is an outdoor/indoor chair. Its structure is made of cast in one piece white polyethylene. Its cushion has a loose and washable cover made of cotton and is available in four colors: deep red, green apple, pearl gray and pink. It’s simple and minimalist. If you don’t like sophisticated design, then these new products might be perfect choice for you.
Bringing a different look on the objects which surround us. Wondering about their functions, their ergonomics, their aesthetics and causing emotions. This is what Sequoia-studio, a product design agency based in Hong Kong wants to share with anyone. “Gélule” is a bedroom clock radio with a simple and smooth shape. It has a backlit LCD display and an omni-directional speaker. A choice of several colors of cloth for the speaker is proposed, fitting with the color of the LCD display. The adjustment of the volume is done by rotation of the speaker.
