Mantra is an automated life saving system concept aiming to tackle the beach safety issues that usually causes drowning casualties such as slow response time, inadequate surveillance, lack of lifeguard safety, and limitation of lifeguards as human. The Mantra concept contains small hairs with embedded electro sensors that detect distress and drowning people and swims up automatically to the spot. The victim them picked up carefully onto the built-in stretcher and it carries him or her on top of the water by using impellers and hydrofoils. There is always constant communication between the Mantra and beach lifeguards through which it carries the victim to a specified beach location where ambulance and medical team remains stand-by.

Renault Ondelios is a concept car especially designed for long distance travel and will be displayed at 2008 Paris Motor Show. This style of the car is enthused partly by an aircraft. Its slippery and low drag body and a canopy-style will surely catch your attention. You cannot ignore its boomerang shaped tail lights which add to the style and overall look of Renault Ondelios. The butterfly-type side doors are extremely amazing giving it a shape of aircraft. This car can accommodate 6 people and individual seats are arranged in 3 rows of paired seats. Passengers will be having their own Samsung interactive portable multimedia devices for sharing data or playing multiplayer games. So, overall Renault is a luxurious car for those who can afford it.

Too bad, this car concept wasn’t accepted by Peugeot, but we still think that this is pretty cool car concept. The concept of “The Cup” is inspired by people’s common behaviors in everywhere and every moment. Especially, usage of cup is one of the most general and daily behavior. In offices, home, even at shops, we can see and use them. In the future, the usage of computer will be more intuitive and simple than now. People will not need to learn how to use PC and the computer system will have effect on behaviors of user’s everyday conduct, like using a cup.
“The Cup” is innovative PC design in terms of following form and functions of physical and instinctive interface of cup. In other words, the operation of this new PC follows certain behaviors when people use cups. Such as contain, collecting, piling and pouring water into other cups, PC has functions of storing, sharing and organizing information. As reflecting a metaphor of cup into PC, The Cup may be creative but easy to use for majority of users.
