The Blue Coast Yachts, in association with Coste Design and Partners, has announced the 95 feet extraordinary luxury yacht Blue Coast 95, which is being constructed at La Ciotat, France. This new generation sailing yacht has been designed for cruising worldwide and is equipped with functional materials, latest technologies and intelligent designs for sea life.
The Blue Coast 95 yacht features three decks, providing excellent performance and comprehensive cruising comfort to its boarders. The narrow twin hulls give the yacht maximum stability and smooth navigating capability in rough weather conditions. As a maxi-catamaran, Blue Coast 95 features an automatic sail reduction mechanism for the first time ever. Moreover, its shallow draft allows it to be cruised and anchored in areas that are usually inaccessible to other motoryachets of the same size.

The WHY yacht is a concept yacht dedicatedly focused on bringing luxury living lifestyle on the sea through offering maximum durability, space and cutting-edge technologies at every single turn. The yacht is contained in a triangle shaped hull measuring 58 x 38 meter and the interior is furnished with water resistant buffalo leather with calpinage technique. Aside from the 25 meter long seawater pool on the bow, the boat creates a completely flat water surface behind it, similar to an Olympic-size pool where boarders can swim in peace. The boat is powered by a diesel electric engine and a central computer manages the different sources of energy. Moreover, about 900 square meters of photovoltaic surface panel generates a part of the energy that is required to subsist the boat.

The new concept electric boat designed by Tanguy Bihan, the Odonata is an electric boat which featured in the Nautical Trade Fair in Paris. The boat is 7 meters in length and has two primary ideas leading it in conceptualizing the same i.e. being modern while being ecology friendly. While it is elegant and contemporary and is run on electricity, the boat is completely noiseless while sailing and in one recharge of batteries it can run up to five hours at a stretch. Also it has plethora of gadgets like GPS multimedia player etc, it ensures that the user is not out of sync in the middle of waters!

The upcoming recreational vehicle show in Dusseldorf, Germany surely has some innovative plans designed by automobile major Volkswagen. The auto major has come up with the Topos Caddy Sail Design Concept, which is a commercial van that has its inspiration drawn from the sailboat as it has its style and functionality to the boot. The concept vehicle has a wooden deck with aluminum rails. The deck can be bended which makes it a convenient to lay and stretch and enjoy sailing; for accessing your roof top sail the manufacturers have also made stairs on the back of the vehicle. “Someday, we’ll be living on and under the oceans”. This idea isn’t so far-fetched. As Earth gets increasingly crowded and polluted, people are trying to find another space to live, ocean. Although, people can’t stand alone under the water yet, surely, technology can make this happen. As we believe, in the near future, people could live under the water.
