Amphibious Hybrid is a concept vehicle which was created under an industrial design course project. This intelligent and superbly designed car has adjustable tire and the ability to analyze particular terrain and change the shape of the tire automatically as required. The tires are able to open up if required depending on the terrain. When the vehicle is running on normal roads, the tires remain usual. When it is running in the snow, the tires are open a little bit. Finally, the flaps are completely open when it is running in the water, acting as a propeller to give the pace.

CarGo is a unique concept vehicle with variable wheelbase, track and load carrying designs aiming to overcome the increasing urban traffic congestion problem which affects numerous delivery companies everyday. Primarily, the battery powered CarGo is designed in a compact mode for inner city deliveries which allows the driver to adapt the vehicle quickly to suit both busy traffic conditions and load volume/type. This one seater concept car has three standard configurations, compact mode for busy city use, constricted mode with banking corner action and pick-up mode for carrying larger volume supplies in more efficient way.

The new bicycle design by Torkel Dohmers has recently won the ‘commuter bike for masses’ design competition. The bicycle named “ThisWay” has been designed keeping in mind the safety and security of the rider from all sorts of situation. Care has been taken by designer to ensure that the rider is safe from weather as the concept has covered top thereby giving the concept an automobile like feel. Also the material used is light weight with the front and rear lights being operated by solar cell placed above the roof, space has been provided on the back for keeping luggage and other stuff. Quite a practical concept as the vehicle will be cost effective as the running cost is still lesser than that of the car.

The new B&D messenger is a revolutionary device designed for users with visual and hearing impairment, enabling them to communicate easily with the regular cell phone user. The basic working of the device is that it is connected to computer and the internet which translates Braille to text and vice versa thus sensing and receiving SMS to the normal user. While for a visually impaired person, the device comes with two options such as the messages can be delivered in Braille format or the same can be read out aloud depending upon the mode one chooses while for the hearing impaired it can be used as a normal cellphone for reading and sending text messages.
