The industrial designer Norio Fujikawa has brought to you the concept of a super robot that can perform even in the extreme climate conditions, called Quadbot. With a self contained power source, this robot will be able to survive for several days in the harsh natural conditions. This useful robot will be helpful for various purposes ranging from rescuing passengers of a crashed aircraft to collect data for environmental scientific projects.
Pretty awesome robot design, huh? Norio says : “This Quadbot is just a personal project for fun”.

This new prototype that has been introduced is quite revolutionary of talks about the overall concept. The aim of the project was to develop a concept wherein the same is controlled by high performance motorcycle robots. With the bikes being driven by high power electric motor with a built in battery pack thus ensuring that the space available is utilized quite optimally. The balance of the vehicle is actively controlled by swinging the boom by the hydraulic actuators. Since the vehicle is driven by motorcycle robot, hence is far more accurate well not bad considering the fact that the promoters aim to break the records in the MotoGP circuit.

It is quite evident that with the passage of time the designs and shapes of the vehicles, commonly used by people will change drastically. They will become environment friendly and also much safer than the current ones. iMO is a great vehicle that is designed to accompany the users as it seems alive with the insertion of several organic parts. It is round in shape and available in colors like yellow, blue, red and black. They have a transparent shield to cover the interior which makes it a fully secured car. The wheels are small, smoothly polished by immensely efficient at the same time. iMo is only a student project for Coventry University with no commercial means.

The next generation WowWee robots series from WowWee Robotics, takes robotics to the next generation. Set to be unveiled in the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas later this week, the two playful companions are something that you more than asked for. The first one is Joebot, which is a regular fully loaded interactive friendly neighborhood robot which also has sense of humor up its sleeve. It also responds to key phrases using the sound sensors, so much so that one can make it dance to the tune as it replicates the same without a hitch. While the other one named Roborover is softer and down to earth version as it gradually gets comfortable with continuous interaction. Quite innovative one must say!

Its winters and it’s that time when all the pathways are clogged with snow, and one needs to clear the same to make way. The new snow mowing robot called Roofus seems to be a welcome change as this small monster can do work equivalent to 25 workers. Apart from this it also comes with other extensions which can be used for other activities like land mowing, plow ending, road cleaning etc. So with so many options available it is surely a good all purpose tool which also comes with remote controls as it gives you power at your finger tips!
