The overall technology is based on Horological machines which tell time. The machine is designed and constructed in three dimensional unlike the traditional wrist watches and hence are revolutionary. This version called as Horological Machine No.3 has been introduced in two versions : “Sidewinder”, with its cones perpendicular to the arm; and “Starcruiser”, with its cones in-line with the arm. Each has its own very distinct visual characteristics; each offers its own unique angle on telling the time.

Confused Direction, a young co-op design firm founded by Flo Florian and Sascha Akkerman, comes out with refreshing concepts and designs which can be termed revolutionary if not bizarre! The houseboat called Schwimmhaus or floating house in German is an eco-friendly house that looks chic design wise too. Still in its design phase, it is still unclear if the same will see commercial production, because if it does there will be many takers for this incredible floating beauty.

It is designed by Guopeng Liang at China Tongji University during an Electrolux 2008 Design Lab Competition. It is a real innovation with great potential to make the process of washing clothes less daunting experience. This laundry hamper will automatically wash your clothes once enough clothes are tossed inside as per the weight. You can also control the frequency of wash cycles. The new design concept by the architecture firm MZ & Partners is termed as “The Wall”. The design is still in draft stage. The idea is to build a lawn and stand in the basement of the stadium. With a capacity to seat 11000, the idea will be a reality in 2010 and has an advantage of having fresh air beneath the feet thus adding to the overall speed of the game as players are fresh through out the game. Also due to the cashing on the ground the overall acoustics is improved as well. So this is surely a revolutionary design.
