This is a type of housing specially designed for emergency accommodation. These are made of fiber glass and plastic that increases the durability and helps them last for a long time. These spheres consist of nineteen tents with an open space in the middle. The inner walls are made up of fine, air-permeable materials. These tents can be occupied by three persons generally though the detachable wall may allow bigger families. The open space permits all the families to gather together that allows them to communicate with each other which becomes very essential psychologically for those who have faced and survived disaster.

Nissan Nuvu is a concept designed to offer next generation car from Nissan with rear-mounted electric motor and lithium ion battery pack. The design of this concept car is quite unusual and small. For city use, the Nuvu’s performance is more than adequate. Across the all-glass roof are a dozen of small solar panels. Basically, natural, organic and recycled materials are used to make its cabin. The steering of the car is very direct for quickness and maneuverability in the city. No one will have any problem in crowded roads and limited parking slots with this tomorrow’s city car.

The new B&D messenger is a revolutionary device designed for users with visual and hearing impairment, enabling them to communicate easily with the regular cell phone user. The basic working of the device is that it is connected to computer and the internet which translates Braille to text and vice versa thus sensing and receiving SMS to the normal user. While for a visually impaired person, the device comes with two options such as the messages can be delivered in Braille format or the same can be read out aloud depending upon the mode one chooses while for the hearing impaired it can be used as a normal cellphone for reading and sending text messages. All conceptual designs today are based on two key platforms: Sustainability and environmental friendly. Here comes the modular kitchen design by Kate Jaclin, from Queensland University of Technology which aims to create a kitchen by which the user can connect with nature and be aware of natural resources like water and energy. So the kitchen waste water can be recycled via the solar energy which can be used again while the organic waste can be used for the attached kitchen or vegetable garden. The kitchen can be refurbished easily and the recycled bio-plastic materials used, have been designed for injection molding. It also is ergonomically designed with prime emphasis being given to user safety.
