Anders Gloslie, a Norwegian designer who is studying at IED Tornio currently in Italy, developed the FROST concept electric car. The stylish exterior design of this extraordinary car was enthused by and developed to suit arctic climate conditions. The asymmetrical bodywork of this car was influenced by formations of ice and features plenty of ‘cracks’ which cover the lighting systems. This motivating natural inspiration source also denotes that the idea takes of various shapes seen from different angles. The FROST concept layout mixes the proportions and the 2-seat design of a racing car with the rough potential of an off-road vehicle.

The concept design today is not just restricted to the ones running on the road but designers today are coming up with exciting designs for both modes of transportation, be it on air or on water. These also include the designs aimed for leisure and pleasure, on these lines come the “Jetbike” designed by San Francisco based designer Norio Fulikawa. The concept looks hot as it can be said to be the racing bike of water because it is aerodynamically designed and has an awesome exhaust pipe and two fins to support its surge forward. The KTM CX concept symbolizes the sheer advancement of technology which has been successfully employed to create this racing vehicle. This piece of locomotive device sports a junk but stylish looks. The body frame features a classic combination of shining black and icy silver. These two colors are teamed with hint of bright orange that enhances the overall look noticeably. The theory of surface tension is deployed in this vehicle so that it can provide uninterrupted motion even on the water surface. While passing through the water, the vehicle will emerge itself in the water and act like the smooth surfboards.

The new FC Sport fuel based car from Honda was recently displayed at the LA Auto Show is one traffic stopper. The designers have taken into their advantage the flexibility which is extended by the fuel cell powertrain as it is placed on the back of the driver. It’s a 3-seater with the styling of sports car major McLaren F1 vehicle, where in the driver is in the middle with passenger seats on side and back. The concept car is right now under study and testing to understand the full utility of the product. Though there may be a possibility of Honda releasing a full fledged version for commercial use.

Out of so many releases by Mercedes Benz, this has been the most unseen model of racing car. This car is named as Formula Zero, thereby featuring a new concept in the world of motor sports racing. Unlike a normal racing car, it is fitted with an elevation so as to provide an extra thrust to the wind consequently making it more difficult for the drivers to maintain the efficiency of the car. Hence, energy efficiency will be the integral part of sports with this Formula zero racing Car. Entire new concept of racing has been evolved, combining the thrill of formula one and the theory of track dynamics.
