Named as Ultra Efficient Odorless Compost Bin designed by Industrial designer Joe Brunton ensures that the waste material don’t stink inside the bin but the organic waste recycles itself by the use of carbon filter technology which dries up the decomposing waste while preventing the malodorous ammonia to enter kitchen. These filters are replaceable which need to be changed every six months thus ensuring the functionality of product as well as that of the process. A good practical thought for sure.

The name given to this ecologically sustainable transport vehicle is called sTrike and just like the name it is surely striking. In these times when everyone is fighting for the parking space, this practical three wheel concept takes care of lot of these problems. The frontal movement of the vehicle is with the help of the pedals just as in bicycle and the cocoon design on top ensures that the rider is safe in case of a collision. The new backpack designed by Brooklyn based designer student Vanessa Marie is surely a practical solution for all those who have security concerns while riding their bicycles late at night. The designer being a cyclist herself was inspired to design this backpack which she rightly calls ‘Night Day Backpack’. It is versatile and chic. The flaps placed on the back have magnets inside them ensuring that they are in place whenever, one jumps over those bumps on the road and the added advantage is that the same becomes visible in the night when flipped up. The new rain water harvesting and sports stadium storage design by Australian designer Chris Buerckner can be said to be innovative product in all respects. He has named it as Watree which looks like an umbrella placed upside down also acts as a shade in the rain. The rain water gets accumulated and is stored in it tank underground as these can be placed on areas away from the playing surface, the water stored can be used to sustain the stadium during the summer months through series of underground pipes. A practical and a self sufficient solution in these crunching times!

Designed by Italian designer Yoann Henry Yvon Lopez, the stand has rows of bike holders which are shaped as petals coming out of a centerpiece. The petals act as holders which are placed on the spokes of the bike thus making it immobile. The advantage that one has with this device is that it occupies less space while giving maximum result.
