The new front door design by Brazil based design group Nódesign is a beautiful design for a front door. The door is sleek and modern and comes with a remote control. Yup the door can be locked or unlocked at the click of a button similar to what a central locking does to a car. The door also comes with a digital door bell, number lighting i.e. the door displaying the house number. The door also comes with a battery back up of running one week without power supply. So a practical solution for today’s resource crunch times which is high tech yet simple to use.

The best thing about these concept cars is that designers are focusing on developing eco-friendly and green gadgets with more and more technologies in them. This new car called “Peugeot Shoo” is also contributing something to the word “Green”. This car is all about solar glow and is designed in a triangle shape with solar roof that enable it to take energy from sun and later transform to run its electrical engine. Toyota Winglet is a prototype of future personal transportation, Toyota motors has come up with their version of walking assistant. Named as Winglet, it’s a personal transport assistant and is ridden in standing position. It has an electric motor, two wheels and an internal sensor for monitoring the user position. The unique parallel link mechanism allows the users to go forward, backward, and it turns by a simple shift of body weight, thus it comes handy even in crowded places. It ensures stability by making power adjustments and sure is one good walking assistant and suits the purpose for moving around safely and freely. Innovation in personal transportation is good, but this kind of transport will make our generation less walk and fatter.

Similarly, Ego designed by Volkswagen is a part of concept vehicles offering a glimpse of what to expect from Volkswagen in future. This two seater sports car design is targeted for the year 2028, a good two decades from now! The body shape is simple, and is an all electric power source, and uses high performance batteries which are charged by fuel cell and the car shall be emitting water. The interiors has intelligent driver aids to warn the driver of hazards and an advanced cruise control with even no need of involvement for the driver; with so many options just cruise along!
