The Universal Phone concept is specially designed for blind people, but sighted people can also use it even efficiently. The keypad contains thousands of micro pins that are lowered and raised according to different modes. Moreover, these pins transforms in a Braille platform to facilitate blind people with reading and writing text messages.

‘Freemode’ the new chair design by John Dyson, has been designed with the motto of helping the people with disabilities to gain more freedom and personal space. The chair with its innovative storage/collapsibility can be used both for personal and as well as hospital. It is easy to use and highly functional thus for collapsing the chair the necessity of usage of hands is not there. Also the base material used is that of fiber glass as the chair is exposed to different environments like shower and toilet functions which involve water. Thus this is a practical solution for the physically challenged.

After apartment furnitures in a box, now comes a compact surfboard from Nicholas Notara. The classic surfboard seems to just take up some more space, while you find the time to use it. Notara decided to design a collapsible surfboard to solve the problem. Made from carbon-fiber, designed carefully to maintain the balance and weight of its traditional counterpart, and with the help of 2 pins and a quick release level can halve in size. A very smart concept which I predict will be available soon !
