The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 with its 3.2” touchscreen has been officially unveiled after its sleek-looking predecessor X1. If you consider dimensions, the latest X2 is close to its previous version; however, it’s lighter than the X1. The X2 features a redesigned keypad just like that of a netbook and reveals by sliding out the upper portion. The 8.1 megapixel camera is one of the major upgrades of X2. The custom panel interfaces have been enriched with fourteen preloaded and sixteen more downloadable ones. Besides, it is the debut of Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system as default on a Sony Ericsson handset.

Le Petit Prince or Little Prince is a robotic greenhouse concept that is specially designed to help the future exploration and expanding population in the Mars. This intelligent robot can carry and take well care of a plant inside its glass container, which is functionally mounted on its four-legged pod. The robot is designed to learn the optimal process of searching for nutrients in order to keep the plant in a good condition. Moreover, it can send reports of its movements and developments to its fellow greenhouse robots through wireless communication, making it possible to learn from each other. The Capshell is an intelligent medication storage that will eliminate the ever increasing non adherence tendency amongst the elderly. This portable and elegant tool reminds the user to take their medications at a preset time and will record the intervals of taking medications. The schedule of Capshell will be set by a pharmacist according to the requirements of a particular individual, loads the storage on a weekly basis and ensures whether the patient is taking his or her medications timely. By adopting Capshell, the elderly community will surely be able to reduce the number of mistakes they are doing regarding taking their medications.

Worrell is a design firm based on Minnesota has designed such a device named Gruve which is a personal energy-burning monitoring system based on Dr Jim Levine’s research. He discovered that it is possible to lose unnecessary weight by being active all through the day which will shut the metabolism down. Gruve is a tri-axial accelerometer that can indicate the progress of an individual against his or her pre-measured metabolism by monitoring the individual’s every movement all through the day.

They will become environment friendly and also much safer than the current ones. iMO is a great vehicle that is designed to accompany the users as it seems alive with the insertion of several organic parts. It is round in shape and available in colors like yellow, blue, red and black. They have a transparent shield to cover the interior which makes it a fully secured car. The wheels are small, smoothly polished by immensely efficient at the same time. iMo is only a student project for Coventry University with no commercial means.
