Instead of using a straw to drink his morning coffee inside a heated aluminum bag, Donald created a cup that could hold liquid in zero gravitation. Spurt is a bicycle trailer designed to satisfy the parents and children alike. The concept ensures that it’s far beyond its good looks as it also ensures the basic needs of riding a bicycle like agility, safety, and comfort. The design addresses the problem of poor vehicle handling, as the overall construction makes it easier to maneuver and handle just as a normal bicycle with the difference being that the passenger sits inside the wheel on the floating seat. Thus, the rider can concentrate on riding the bicycle rather than concentrating on the passenger!

The Second Solar Spaceship, designed by Different Futures, placed in the German city of Boblingen is the most elaborate children’s toy. The spaceship as the name suggest is the replica of any regular spaceship minus the ability to fly. This three level toy is interactive spaceship also has a 3-D cinema, a laboratory and even an alien breeding ground! The concept has jet engines and the circular docking pods are used for connecting to orbiting stations. This aerodynamic beauty is a sports car which runs on electricity with the overall concept being of reducing energy consumption. This is achieved as the vehicle adopts the alternate energy regeneration system inspired by technology used in dance floors. Here car has a central kinetic axis which with the movement of the vehicle generates power. The car is a complete beauty not just design wise but in motion as it puts to use the kinetic laws of physics for its basic functioning. So, one can say that it’s one piece of art.
