Looks can be deceptive, that’s what designer Andrei França’s invention seems to authenticate. Noah, a high performance vehicle looks like a unicycle, but on closer observation one can see two tires which are mounted in tandem. The basic design of the Noah is to use the human driver as a control device, i.e. by using how we lean forward or back or say side to side and thus determining the acceleration, braking and turning. All this is done without the need of pedals or buttons. The tires act as stabilizers for the vehicle through the turns as they shift up and down against one another to give more control to the driver. So just take control and zoom ahead.

Based on research, kids? observation is a psychological behavior. It takes long to change their cognitive habit and get used to new ones. This project aims to build an amusing interactive platform with electronic technology, which is easy for kids to control and can quickly improve their cognition process.

IC is an interactive device which can help kids get to know things they are interested in and figure out answers to their own questions all by themselves. As its name implies, it may help kids to go from ?see the object? to ?eventually see the function?. -

It seems to be a perfect solution for commuting- an alliance between safe intercity transport (such as trains, buses and airplanes) and short-range non polluting bicycles which can zip you through the congested city like a breeze and park in your room or your cubicle at work. However, I only saw this harmony take place in some places in Europe (Italy is especially biker- friendly) and in some areas of the US, mostly on the west coast. All this in spite of rising awareness for environmental issues, growing congestion within city limits and an immense growth in the popularity of cycling for commuting as well as for sport. So I tried to find what was preventing this alliance from happening. After a certain observation and research, I discovered some interesting things. Read the rest of this entry »
