A new architectural wonder is coming up in the Caribbean, with one of the best architects coming together to set up what can be said a destination to look for. In the Turks & Caicos archipelago, a 560 acre island is being developed which has about 124 villas and 154 residences in the cradle of nature. The project, set to be completed by 2010, will feature works by Shigeru Ban, David Chipperfield, Carl Ettensperger, Zaha Hadid, Kengo Kuma, Piero Lissoni, and Chad Oppenheim. With each architect worth his salt developing their projects, the highlight of the island is the whopping 30,000 sq ft spa by Mandarian Oriental with a luxury hotel and various eateries making it a perfect vacation destination. Architects of UNStudio have come up with their competition winning redevelopment and extremely fabulous structure of a former post office in Rotterdam. This building is approximately 44.000 m2 in surface. This is surely going to be a historical monument in the city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This monument will include a vertical entrance and a 100m high tower featuring a luxury hotel with several facilities such as conferences, offices, cafes, bars, restaurants, and retail facilities etc. The project will most probably end by the year 2012 and creates a sustainable development which integrates a ‘Green Shopping’ experience for people and also offers a new urban look for the city.

To commemorate the French Independence Day, MobiFrance has come out with a concept phone which is a perfect tribute to one of the best fought independence in the history. To begin with the design it speaks for itself as the phone has been designed on Eiffel Tower, the best known landmark in France. It has been named FL (French Luxury) which is a touch screen phone and has a 7.2 mega pixels camera. Also it stands like a tower and has speakers on sides. It can be used for all the multimedia functions including video and it has vibration mode to go with. Though the manufacturers have not disclosed the price or availability but surely this one will have many takers.

We always wanted to have a car like Caterham, but the one and only thing that came to our minds by looking at it was that this car would have been better with roof, 400 horsepower and more luxury. So all the prayers have been answered and the IFR has come up with an all-new Aspid with roof in which two engines will be available and a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter producing 270 hp, or a 400-hp turbocharged version of the same mill. This light weight carbon fiber structure whose power will be sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential to get that 400 horsepower.
