The superb design of OPEHN Lamp concept leaves the wires outside, giving the lamp an impression to be naked. The designer has used energy saving LED bulbs to make it even more efficient and the bulbs have been placed in a shameless manner too. However, the bulbs are decorated with petals which give the lamp an organic appearance with the wires to be some growing vines of a tree. The petals have been placed in different angles so that it can lighten in all directions equally. The round base is designed to be well balanced and keep the lamp stand still in even and uneven surfaces.

This is actually a necklace that comprises solar panels in order to accumulate energy from the sun during daytime. This accumulated energy then is used to lighten the LED bulbs to give an appearance of dazzling pearls of this fashionable necklace. The Master LED bulb from Philips has the same form as an old-fashioned one, making it simple to use for the people and feel comfortable about using it. Even though the bulb draws 7 watts only, it gives off light equal to a 40 watt bulb and lasts around 45,000 hours which about 30x the length of a normal bulb. This Master LED bulb is available in Europe already and should reach the North American shores before July.
