ArmadaQuadrat team and Manuel Irritier have come up with a simple mobile phone for people who don’t need any features like camera, sms, GPRS, E-mail or Internet surfing. The phone is called Simplicity Phone and it is just a normal mobile phone which can only be used to receive and make calls. It has a touch screen display, which makes it more user-friendly. The design is also very simple which comes in a flip open form and it also has a digital clock in its cover so that you can see the time. It is very simple and quite affordable with no added complexities.

Blue Earth is the first solar powered full touch screen cell phone which beautifully designed by Samsung. By charging with the solar panel located on the back of the phone, users can generate enough electronic power to call anytime anywhere. This cell phone is made from recycled plastic called PCM, which is extracted from water bottles, helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions in the manufacturing process. With increase of vehicles on roads, it is but naturally shrinking the parking and the road space available for cars. Add to that the depleting natural resources, auto makers are trying to make concept cars that addresses both the problems. The 2-seater CityAnt seems to be a derivative of this thought as the vehicle runs on electricity. As per the designers it is an amicable solution for short distance rental service which can run on self service model which shall be controlled with membership. Looks wise it’s cute and the addition of alloy wheels is a boost in the overall look and feel of the car.

This is a G1 phone designed for Google by two San Francisco designers, Mike and Maaike. This is a unique phone using the Google’s open source operating system called as Android. The handset is quite stylish and has a 3.2 inch touch screen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. This phone also incorporates a compass that helps you to navigate Google maps by turning the phone. G1 is produced by Taiwanese manufacturers HTC and is also available on T-mobile. The only advantage or unique thing that this device has is the ease of Google into a mobile phone.
