Le Petit Prince or Little Prince is a robotic greenhouse concept that is specially designed to help the future exploration and expanding population in the Mars. This intelligent robot can carry and take well care of a plant inside its glass container, which is functionally mounted on its four-legged pod. The robot is designed to learn the optimal process of searching for nutrients in order to keep the plant in a good condition. Moreover, it can send reports of its movements and developments to its fellow greenhouse robots through wireless communication, making it possible to learn from each other. Thomas Meyerhoffer has been creating a new type of surfboard since 2004 which is considered now by many people as the most innovative leap in the design of surfboards during the last 50 years. This handy board is outlined like an hourglass to emphasize tail-riding and nose-riding for recreational surfers and this long-board is supposed to be a quick rider than other conventional surfboards. Singaporean designer (and a recent industrial design graduate from NUS), Donn Koh, had recently clinched one of the most coveted prizes for industrial design students – the Braun Prize. Titled Leapfrog, the project helps children with spinal problems to switch between sitting, standing and walking seamlessly.

LeapFrog humanizes the assistive walker for the brain-injured child by combining stander and walker functionality – it transforms, and assists, in sync with the child?s intention to sit, stand or walk. Besides supporting physical development, sense of independence and esteem, LeapFrog also turns ?painful? medical engineering aesthetics into sociable, toy-like approachability.
