World online gamers’ interests reach for the GNGWC2007 at Seoul

World online gamers? festival, GNGWC2007(Game and Game World Championship 2007) will be held at COEX-Pacific hall on Dec. 1st.

Followed by last year event, more than 90 selected players at preliminary matches from Korea, US, Europe, S.E. Asia, and Japan region will be gathering at GNGWC2007 Grand Final and compete intensively for total reward of 54,000(USD).

GNGWC is a part of GSP(Global Service Platform) marketing campaign which began in 2004 by KIPA to support Korean online games in foreign market and its event begun from 2006 in earnest. GNGWC campaign started to support Korean online game industries in US, Europe, Japan, and S.E. Asia markets and it is accomplishing enough part for Korean online game industries by foreign countries marketing mean even though it has short history.

Korea-made online games flying into the world on Coca-Cola

The world-famous Coca-Cola and Korean online games entered into a partnership.

Korea SW Industry Promotion Agency (KIPA) plans to work with Coca-Cola in Hong Kong to market Korea-made online games on the Global Service Platform (GSP) and promote Korea-made online games in the global market.

For this purpose, KIPA dispatched Vice President Taek Min Kwon of the Digital Contents Business Group and working staff to Hong Kong and signed an MOU on joint promotion with Coca-Cola Hong Kong (General Manager Mei So) on the 15th.
