Adam Brodowski from USA has designed “Sook”, a wireless kitchen assistant concept that displays and shares different recipes and allows you to connect to your social networking websites with the help of internet access on this device. “Sook” uses a series of sensors to sense what food is kept nearby or on its cutting board. Apart from measuring weight and moisture, it also includes an electronic tongue that tastes and examines food so that all the ingredients can be mixed in a better way. This device is waterproof and be washed like your other utensils. Pretty futuristic concept, especially with “electronic tongue”, very cool. Just buy your favorite food from restaurant, put it near Sook, and voila … you will get the secret ingredients and you can share it with your friends automatically.

IDEO has come up with a revolutionary product that has been designed as a study tool for kids under the age of 12 years. It allows them to read, learn, collaborate and work the product is design is laptop style computing which has a special set of physical characteristics which facilitates the usage for children and allowing schools and parents alike, to support the system. Also it helps students to adjust to any given environment and learn during the same time. This is a very useful tool as students can learn in this faster compared to other mediums.

The new B&D messenger is a revolutionary device designed for users with visual and hearing impairment, enabling them to communicate easily with the regular cell phone user. The basic working of the device is that it is connected to computer and the internet which translates Braille to text and vice versa thus sensing and receiving SMS to the normal user. While for a visually impaired person, the device comes with two options such as the messages can be delivered in Braille format or the same can be read out aloud depending upon the mode one chooses while for the hearing impaired it can be used as a normal cellphone for reading and sending text messages. The new multimedia car PC by KGNT on the Windows XP platform is a combination of latest in wireless & PC technologies. Named as icom MK1, it has been introduced in the Korean Markets and the device consists of a 6.95 inch wide touch screen and also as an on board keyboard with a resolution of 800 x 400 (WVGA). It allows the users to access wireless internet service via wireless telecommunication service providers. The internet map in the system allows it to support navigation display thus the users are never out of touch. I strongly suggest that every car should have this gadget installed !
