This innovative caravan was designed aiming creating something exceptional from the plain boring white boxes around and to recapture some individuality yet have the minimum resemblances to identify it as a caravan to potential buyers. The design is inspired by 50s style and highlighted by whitewall tires, wheel covers, the sleek airstream shape, aluminum band and shady windows. The modern and sophisticated interior features a separate bedroom located above the living area operated by electronic pop up roof and a movable ladder allows accessing the bedroom located at the end of the kitchen. Moreover, a standard sized bathroom, a hygienic kitchen and a fold down rear docking area have made the caravan really an extraordinary place.

Earlier this year, Toyota and Royal College of Art Students (RCA) have launched a creative partnership to promote innovative design for urban living, using Toyota’s new iQ city car as the inspiration. Students were asked to create an item that reflect the concept of ‘intelligent urban living’.
Yusuf Muhammad, was the winner of Living Room category and joint overall winner. His Yu Type design sits on the computer keyboard and allows ‘hunt and peck’ two fingered typists the opportunity to increase their speed and confidence. He is now thinking about developing the idea and hopes to include features like spell checking and predictive text to increase its appeal. Judges praised the way he addressed a social issue of an aging population within the urban context.

The invention of clocks is the resultant of that. The new clock design by Jansen Lye is sure an innovative one. All it has is needles, one long and one short. Hability was born from the need to combine a careful analysis of the needs of the disabled with the creation of a kitchen that is not merely accessible but also aesthetically pleasant and accurate in every detail. The collaboration between architect Marco Miscioscia, a designer attentive to the world of the disabled, and Valcucine, a company that has made the philosophy of beauty its motto, has resulted in the creation of this industrial product that can be utilized just as well by people with no handicap as by the disabled, without the kitchen labeling the person as is often the case with similar projects.
Easy Food is a system in stainless steel for the kitchen, designed to reduce work during food preparation. It is extremely innovative in terms of ergonomics, safety and technical solutions and has been designed to be very accessible to the advantage of anyone using the kitchen. The stainless steel top has been made from a single mould. This technology avoids welding and built-in elements that would increase costs and imperfections.
