It is designed by Guopeng Liang at China Tongji University during an Electrolux 2008 Design Lab Competition. It is a real innovation with great potential to make the process of washing clothes less daunting experience. This laundry hamper will automatically wash your clothes once enough clothes are tossed inside as per the weight. You can also control the frequency of wash cycles. The iBasket will also send you a message on your computer once the cleaning is done.

The new concept designed by Dutch designers Arthur Rottier and Peter Jongman can be defined in one word as “refreshing”. They call it WoonBox and it is revolutionary in combining the basic necessities which are identified in regular household. This device has a shower, toilet and a kitchen in a compact box like structure. Apart from being chic, it is mobile, mechanized and easy to set up. This makes it perfect for offices, parks as well as for locations wherever temporary set up is required. So surely it is a brilliant idea which takes care of all your basic needs.

Designed to serve as temporary residence in places where permanent homes are difficult to locate, Woonbox can be set-up in spaces like offices and parks as makeshift measures. Woonbox would also come in handy for the poor and homeless as well as the class of populace that cannot afford large permanent establishments.

To cater to these care needs Fraunhofer IPA has developed the mobile robot assistant to take care of humans. It is designed to take care of day to day needs for everyone. The first Care-o-bot was developed in 1998 with its ability to move around safely in the human environment. The subsequent developments have given it the ability to manipulate regular household tasks. Thus the future seems set that the care-o-bots can surely take good care of us.

Clear and simple lines, it is a prototype of design with the cube and the rounded angles. Purified and elegant, but such an ultra space technological. For the Gorenje mark this kitchen tendency is also a technological window. The kitchen of the future Gorenje was nominated in early January 2008 to compete at a price of the best design products that have marked the previous year organized by the magazine Wallpaper.
