The new project named as Smoker bench, is as the name signifies a place where the smokers can smoke and socialize in peace without a hassle. The bench consisting of a two side sitting area with supporting pillars, which double up as containers to flip the ash or disposing the cigarette stubs. The designer has put to use the connecting portion between the two pillars as grass can be grown adding to the visual feel. Also it helps in promoting the clean and green message to all those who spend time there, although in a silent manner. The main aim of this place is to provide a unique public place for smoker and protect the non-smoker at the same time.

The new conceptual torch light designed by Slovenian designer Tilen Sepic, is something that has been picked straight out of the sci-fi movies. The whole idea of the concept as per the designer is to produce a working light without the hassle of shadows being reflected in the object. The device is supposed to be worn like a glove around the wrist and the light is emitted through the white LED which is a part of the device. The device also includes a battery pack with the light being transferred through the attached optical fibers to a specified location. Just point at the location and you will see light!

Still trying to figure out what’s the reading in the conventional thermometers? Well all the worries are gone now? The new Vicks Forehead Thermometer is the new thermometer that allows parents to easily monitor their kids’ temperature with out any hassles. The thermometer sensor scans the temperature from the temple to forehead and by using the heat from the temporal artery and assesses the temperature quicker than the normal conventional thermometers. The reading is in color coded manner with green background indicating normal temperature while the red background indicating fever. Simple, nice and easy way to measure temperature.

Who does not want to have peace and silence in the environment? ASI system – Areal grants you what you are looking for. ..PEACE. This device looks like a Surround Sound system but in actual it helps you with stress caused by noise around you. The device uses its principle of sound wave transference to control disturbing noises that penetrate our environment. The recorded noise in transferred into a computer that assess its frequency and at the same time delivers a countering sound wave to remove the noise and produce silence. So, I guess it is going to be a wonderful device for those who need some peace in today’s hassle bustle city life.

For all the people who find it a hassle to do rinsing, and disposing garbage, designer Anne Kitzmiller has come up with Crevasse Prep Sink. The sink has been developed in collaboration with Kohler kitchen design and engineering group, it controls rinsing functions and garbage disposal synchronization. It uses a unique technique to develop a safe interface which can be activated by human touch, thus eliminating any chance of activation by accident by a pot or a pan. A constant blue glow indicates the rinse cycle, and the synchronized garbage disposal cycle is indicated by a flashing blue glow.
