In a mood to maneuver the streets, then the new SoulArc Board is sure something that will help you doing the same. Though at the first glance it looks like a normal skateboard, but it has a rigid top while the below-deck composite spring provides the action and the feeling one gets is that of surfing. Designed by Mitch Mulder, along with Salvaore Vilardi, the whole design is dependent on the performance spring, which has undergone various adjustments like size, shape and material selection etc. The overall ride is quite smooth and unmatched to give that surfing experience. Crane vehicles are not new to you, but this one is a unique concept with a lifting capacity of 80 tons. There is a combined cabin for both driver as well as operator at the end of the supporting 2-piece hydraulic folding arm which can reach up to 8.5 meters of height. This concept vehicle can be helpful as the transport vehicle or to the crane operating position as on usual crane. On the first glance, this crane looks like a tank because of its heavy look. Its steering and functions are easily controlled with the help of joystick and pedals, pretty cool crane concept.
Outrigger legs are integrated to the warning stripped plates. Front part brings a new simplified system of hook transportation. Partially hidden hook allows better visibility out of the cabin. Auxiliary ladder can be removed from the front part and put anywhere around the platform.

The TX54 is a concept design which featured in the global design competition organized by Timex in collaboration with Core77. The design competition was held to commemorate 150 years of watch crafting and time keeping. The device is transparent and needs to be kept at the thumbnail or stays clear till the time it is activated. To activate or check time, one can just glance at the time when needed. It is small, chic and minimalist. Of course one can simply glance at their cell phone than going for another gadget but with its looks and various modes it a nice way to keep time.

UK designer Michael Young’s new conceptual designs for the frequent traveler have only one thing all across it – ‘Convenience’. Suitably titled VOYAGE, it is made of stainless steel and the black ABS passport holder simply has space for all the necessary documents, and also has room for pen and credit cards. The other concept is that of the key-rings, with each key being held separately, so that one can identify them at a glance. Now to address the lost luggage issue, the third travel accessory in this concept is the luggage tag. It signifies smart thinking, with ease of use and elegance, all combined in this stainless steel design. And the black polycarbonate cap screws are securely in place with the metal tube that holds the name and address tag. These three contemporary solutions are sold individually. And the good news is, you will actually be able to buy Voyage, let’s hope Georg Jensen is going to release the voyage series soon.
