Landstorm concept is a vehicle that is designed for future, when airborne vehicles will not be much effective to reach a particular area because of frequent natural disasters which is the result of future global warming. This vehicle has been designed as an all terrain vehicle that is equipped with a collection of hidden gadgets or compartments and the ability to interchange the pods located on its back. There is a variety of Pods that can be enclosed with the vehicle before it is sent to a particular location. These pods have been designed considering scouting missions, food and water transportation to a disaster affected area, medical pods that can treat 2 patients simultaneously, excavation pods that can work as a robust crane to remove large pieces of wreckage, and fire rescue pod where the tank can hold 750 gallons of water and can drain water from lakes with outboard pumps.

What do you get when an entertainment major join hands with leaders in home appliances, software and hardware combined with a high end builder? What you get is a house full with innovations like the one recently unveiled by Disney, the Innoventions Dream Home in Anaheim, Calif. It is located in a place called Tomorrowland, and it promises to be a house of the future or you can say marketing of the future, since the construction was a collaborative effort between Disneyland, Microsoft, HP, Life|ware and home-builder Taylor Morrison. With gadgets like magic mirror that allows you to see how you look in various clothes, kitchen that recognizes ingredients and a multimedia interface to tell stories to children, all we can say is welcome to the future!

Future has always fascinated human mind. How every one wishes to see what life will be like in the future. May be people in the early 20th century might have imagined many things for the 21st century. How far or how close have come to their school of thought is a question that is ponder able. Having said that, we still think how it would be in the future. What kind of gadgets shall be in use and also how the necessary gadgets of today will look in the future?
