With increasing vehicular traffic on the road and resulting pollution each passing day, more and more emphasis is being given in finding alternate means of transportation. Obviously green fuel and the vehicles running on the same is quite a craze, but the same is in conceptual stage it would be a while before the same will be in mass production. But what about the good old bicycle? With the advent of cars and other motor vehicles it somehow went into oblivion. But not anymore. With Ubicycle-Public Service, an initiative which seems to bring the bicycle back in fashion.
There are many advantages that can be said about the usage of bicycles. It is environment friendly, no pollution, and the best part is that it is health friendly as well. The main goal of Ubicycle-public bicycle service is encouraging people to use bicycles as an alternative means to commute, thus providing easy-to-access public bicycles to and from transit or nearby home, school, and workplace.

Car on stick as your future urban transport. Those bubble-shaped cars are powered by solar canopies on the roof, very fascinating imagination isn’t it? At night, the bubble cars are stored atop telescopic poles, we can use parked vehicles to provide illumination to the city at night. Let’s take a look at peugeot’s futuristic prototype two-seater. This 4WD Quark has removable interactive interface, innovative PDA concept, still serves the same purpose as ignition key which combine with instrument panel. 4WD Quark is also protected with small transparent and waterproof cover. Enough said, this 4WD Quark prototype has competed successfully at Michelin Bibendum challenge.The vehicle create its own class in four wheeler, which actually similar with 4WD machines that are selling so well in America at present, yet created low-emission inner-urban fuel-cell vehicle. To drive each of four 17″ diameter wheels, this 4WD Quark is using electric motor which connected to the chassis by means of triangular wishbones.


The fuel cell supplements electrical energy supplied by a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery consisting of 40 individual cells, each with a voltage of 7.2 volts. The one that I like the most about the future is car, it’s amazing how people design a very futuristic design and not so little can make it happen, some even already have the prototype. Now let’s see about Mazda Nagare concept from Mazda, the word itself pronounced as “na-ga-reh”, this cool car was first shown at the Greater Los Angeles Internation Auto Show, and also as the first series of design concepts that Mazda will show in this global auto show season.Laurens Van Den Acker as Mazda’s new global design director, the team was challenged to invent a means of registering motion in vehicles, and Nagare was born, the meaning of its name is flowing (in Japanese), this design achieves the goal also signaling a fresh design of future Mazda vehicles.
