The RollTop is a flexible notebook concept that can be folded like a roll of paper allowing the user ultimate convenience of carrying and storing it even in a congested place. It features a 17” flat-screen OLED display when fully rolled out with the multi-touch facility that will offer the ease and functionality of that of an iPhone. Also, when required, it can be folded into a 13” smart tablet pc. Aside from the touch-screen controlling, it features full fledged keyboard like conventional notebooks with which convenient typing can be performed. When folded, this compact notebook takes the size of a water carrier and can easily be hanged over the shoulder with a hanging belt.

The PC tower concept “Level 10” is a combination of functionalizing and philosophizing beyond the eye-catching factor just like most of the other Designworks project. The design team was inspired for this approach from the computer industry and has made this machine with futuristic game components, virtual townscapes and expressiveness. It is designed by Guopeng Liang at China Tongji University during an Electrolux 2008 Design Lab Competition. It is a real innovation with great potential to make the process of washing clothes less daunting experience. This laundry hamper will automatically wash your clothes once enough clothes are tossed inside as per the weight. You can also control the frequency of wash cycles. The iBasket will also send you a message on your computer once the cleaning is done.

Slice PC Concept helps you physically interacting with the information, users can organize and place files accordingly. Music note stand is important part for musicians when they are playing an instrument. Turning each pages can be very hard while at the same time they can’t stop playing their music, they will need some help from an assistant. Based on that idea, CLEF was born. CLEF is a conceptual digital music note stand which also supports computer functions such as surfing the web, listening to the music, multimedia editing, etc. Musicians can read through flexible LCD and turn each pages in this digital music note by using a wireless foot pedal, they just need to press the foot pedal or touch the main screen (if they are able to) without having to stop playing their music.
The simple prism shape and contrast of black and white deliver the simplicity and elegance of classical music. On the outer design, it shows aesthetically pleasing focal points with circular shapes and curves.
