Capca car concept is created for Peugeot Design Contest 2008: Imagine the Peugeot in the Worldwide Megalopolis of Tomorrow. Too bad, this car concept wasn’t accepted by Peugeot, but we still think that this is pretty cool car concept. What will city infrastructure and city transport, parking and fueling be like in the near future? Let’s take a look at your city from the height of a skyscraper, what will you see? There are green areas and water pools, round shape streets and austere simplicity of architecture, streams of hi-tech eco-vehicles and eye appealing blossoms of parked cars. You’d be glad to know that parking lots filled up with cars now produce oxygen so necessary for life. No more smog and polluted air, no more packed buses and fussy crowds with capca car concept.

The Icon A5 aircraft is a 2-seater sports airplane for the masses. It is solely designed for personal use. The new Mazda Kazamai is sure a cynosure to the eyes. The vehicle will be unveiled at the 2008 Moscow Motor show. It’s an SUV concept with the nature inspired styling cues. The literal meaning of Kazamai in Japanese is ’swirling crosswinds’ which seems to have continued in the design with door panels having subtle lines which look like the lines created in the sand. The front and rear lights seem an extension of this inspiration. The glass roof is an extension of the windscreen and looks very stylish. It also comes with a 22″ wheels with a direct injection engine. Overall it is one hell of a looker.

The new Copenhagen aquarium is expected to be a marvel in the contemporary water front architecture. It has been named as ‘The Blue Planet’ and is scheduled to be opened in 2013. It has been designed by Danish architects 3XN who had given their ‘Whirlpool’ concept wherein the whole concept was inspired by nature and sea. The location of the project is on the island of Amager near Copenhagen Airport and the airline passengers will have a complete aerial view of the structure. This design sure has traffic stopping looks.

What do you get when an entertainment major join hands with leaders in home appliances, software and hardware combined with a high end builder? What you get is a house full with innovations like the one recently unveiled by Disney, the Innoventions Dream Home in Anaheim, Calif. It is located in a place called Tomorrowland, and it promises to be a house of the future or you can say marketing of the future, since the construction was a collaborative effort between Disneyland, Microsoft, HP, Life|ware and home-builder Taylor Morrison. With gadgets like magic mirror that allows you to see how you look in various clothes, kitchen that recognizes ingredients and a multimedia interface to tell stories to children, all we can say is welcome to the future!
