The Nissan Land Glider is a compact electric vehicle concept that features an innovative computer controlled steering system, allowing the car lean into the turns for better balance. The driver seat is placed centrally inside the narrow cabin of this two-seater car and another seat for the passenger is located directly behind the driver’s seat. The steering wheel has been designed like a flight yoke and cameras and monitors have replaced the rear view mirrors. The dashboard is one more thing of the car that you have never seen in any other cars. With the potentially lighter weight and narrow profile, this electric car is being expected to hit the crowd soon.

The appearance of the car is much identical with the science fiction flying cars we used to watch. TW Transporter is a single seater magnetic field powered concept vehicle that has been crafted by fascinating the future transportation means. This two wheeler vehicle includes an on-board electricity powered mechanism and an electric engine that can generate a magnetic filed to run the large wheels. The rims of the wheel are suspended over superconducting fluids where the shifting magnetic field creates the required motion to propel the car. Thus, the motion and power generation is nearly noiseless, smooth and green. The seat of this vehicle offers the driver a balanced position in a cockpit and easy operation of the vehicle. There is a port at the back of the cockpit through which the driver will enter or leave the vehicle.

The new FC Sport fuel based car from Honda was recently displayed at the LA Auto Show is one traffic stopper. The designers have taken into their advantage the flexibility which is extended by the fuel cell powertrain as it is placed on the back of the driver. It’s a 3-seater with the styling of sports car major McLaren F1 vehicle, where in the driver is in the middle with passenger seats on side and back. The concept car is right now under study and testing to understand the full utility of the product. Though there may be a possibility of Honda releasing a full fledged version for commercial use.

Nissan Nuvu is a concept designed to offer next generation car from Nissan with rear-mounted electric motor and lithium ion battery pack. The design of this concept car is quite unusual and small. For city use, the Nuvu’s performance is more than adequate. Across the all-glass roof are a dozen of small solar panels. Basically, natural, organic and recycled materials are used to make its cabin. The steering of the car is very direct for quickness and maneuverability in the city. No one will have any problem in crowded roads and limited parking slots with this tomorrow’s city car.
