Koenigsegg Quant : A Solar Electric Sports Car

The Solar Car designed by Koenigsegg is being compared with an Electric Batmobile. Koenigsegg is a high-end car maker of Sweden and have just made the demonstration of their electric solar car NLV Quant in Geneva. This car is able to go 0-62 mph in just 5.2 seconds with 512hp. It takes only 20 minutes to charge full however, not all through solar. It’s true that electric sports cars are not being manufactured by Koenigsegg for the first time, but they are the one who are using solar panels for the first time onto it. Koenigsegg is delivering sports cars for decades and this solar car is one of their most superior creations.

Frost Electric Car by Anders Gloslie

Anders Gloslie, a Norwegian designer who is studying at IED Tornio currently in Italy, developed the FROST concept electric car. The stylish exterior design of this extraordinary car was enthused by and developed to suit arctic climate conditions. The asymmetrical bodywork of this car was influenced by formations of ice and features plenty of ‘cracks’ which cover the lighting systems. This motivating natural inspiration source also denotes that the idea takes of various shapes seen from different angles. The FROST concept layout mixes the proportions and the 2-seat design of a racing car with the rough potential of an off-road vehicle.

Phoenix Vehicle Design with Central Kinetic Axis to Generate The Power

The new Phoenix concept designed by Sergio Loureiro, a Royal College of Art student in London, is some piece of work. This aerodynamic beauty is a sports car which runs on electricity with the overall concept being of reducing energy consumption. This is achieved as the vehicle adopts the alternate energy regeneration system inspired by technology used in dance floors. Here car has a central kinetic axis which with the movement of the vehicle generates power. Scarab is Delivering a Sense of Personal Space and Independece to Its Users

Honda FC Future Sports Car with V Flow Fuel Cell Technology

The new FC Sport fuel based car from Honda was recently displayed at the LA Auto Show is one traffic stopper. The designers have taken into their advantage the flexibility which is extended by the fuel cell powertrain as it is placed on the back of the driver. It’s a 3-seater with the styling of sports car major McLaren F1 vehicle, where in the driver is in the middle with passenger seats on side and back. The concept car is right now under study and testing to understand the full utility of the product. Though there may be a possibility of Honda releasing a full fledged version for commercial use.
