Posten Pod concept aims to overcame the typical problems when delivery of the mail is done using a typical transportation of the post office. This urban mail delivery vehicle design focuses on user centered design practices and everyday life activities. After in-depth research of using conventional transportation to deliver mails, S. Dogan Sekercioglu, the designer, realized that there are many flaws that could cause physical strain and injuries on the body over time. This concept offers a friendly vehicle design that will fit better when cruising around in the city.
Since the research was done in Umea, Sweden, therefore the geography conditions also influenced the contextual framework of Posten Pod.

The Cynomy demolition vehicle is designed to adopt sophisticated and precise demolition methods by incorporating robotics and innovative control systems. Aside from being used locally, this vehicle can perform in critical conditions like tight spaces and risky sites such as nuclear power plants, chemical factories, sewers, etc. The remote features two handed operating with the ability to control the robotic arms of Cynomy according to the operator’s arms movement. Each arm can be outfitted with a range of tools as per the project requirements and can be folded down during transport. Electric motors are placed inside the airless wheels that are synchronized with an electronic system to move opposite directions too for tight turns.

Lift Vest aims to increase the chance of survival of a backcountry winter recreationist after an avalanche and protect the wearer against trauma during the rescue activity. Lift Vest is light and simple, it acts as a life vest by creating an air cavity under the avalanche, helping to keep the victim’s head on top of the snow and protecting the user against physical trauma. This Lift Vest design features an airbag that contains desired amount of air to create enough lift during and after an avalanche. The front handles are pulled strongly so that it breaks the plastic locks to start inflation that requires only 2-3 seconds to complete and protects the user’s head and neck. To sustain till the emergency team arrives, the airbag holds enough air for up to 2 hours of respiration. Moreover, it contains two pressurized cartridges filled with dry air as a fail-safe precaution.

The Mono kettle is designed to save energy and time when preparing hot beverages for single users, eliminating the possibility of pouring more water than needed by featuring a kettle with an isolated mug that can be used for both heating and drinking. Heating is done by the incorporated induction system that turns on by turning the mug to its desired heating level. After heating, the control ring will get back to the off mode. The kettle features two modes, first one is up to the boiling point for preparing tea and another is called eCO mode where water is heated up to 80 degree Celsius that is enough for preparing coffee and most other hot beverages. The mug can be safely hold right after the drink is prepared with the safest holding position indicating contours on the ceramic surface.
